Roses In The Hedgerow- Primitives And Garden Treasures

Someday I'm going to have a store with a tinkly bell hung over the door
with real glass cases and counters wide and just about everything inside
Pots and kettles and crockery
Seeds in packets and flowers too
I'll fix the window and dust each shelf and take in the money all by myself
It will be my store and I'll say
what can I do for you .. today ?

Gail Brunke Younger Days

Hello & A Warm Welcome To All.

My name is Gail Brunke, Artist and proprietor of Roses In The Hedgerow. My work stems from a life long passion for crafting, gardening, photography, and Antiquing. I grew up on a good size fruit and poultry farm, with 3 sisters and 1 brother, in upstate New York, nestled among Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. Very beautiful country.

I Still live in a very small country town called Marion. My parents & grandparents taught me to love the land, to be honest, to work hard, and to put God first.. God, Family, Home and my Work are the most important to me. I believe in *Made In The USA* and I see this everyday through good quality works of so many talented artists right here in this wonderful country..

Family Pics

I have a supportive husband, Steve, 2 wonderful grown boys, Jason & Nick, and each have 1 little girl. My grand-babies are my pride and joy, Lancy- 6 and Kaylee-3. And can't forget my little best friend Millie- my Jack Russell who turns 11 this year.

Always dreaming about having my own shoppe ,my dreams finally  came true .. Aug 2010, I opened the doors to Roses in the Hedgerow  . A antique country shoppe  filled with Primitives , early American colonial & folk-art, Handmades by local Artists & Antique Dealers.   Come for a visit  and take a step back in time to a simpler way.

This is a new journey for me, and I'm very excited about this adventure , so come
along with me, and I hope you enjoy
Roses In The Hedgerow...

Love to see ya soon , Gail
