Barn & Estate Finds...
Treasures from long ago, each at one time had a special chore, and now are mostly used for display or pleasure. I often wonder as I hold a piece, what special meaning it had, if it will find a new home, or even stay with me for a tad.

Vintage Child's Dress
Long ago, worn by a child, this vintage dress with trip lace is aged a bit more with my ''Special'' mixture of stains and spices and dusted with cinnamon. There is pretty lace around the bottom, neck and sleeves and 3 tiny buttons in the back. A stained vintage dolly and handmade paper rose is pinned to the shoulder, completed by making a cherry twig hanger and wrapped stained cheesecloth so you can easily display. This measures 19 inches long by 17 inches across the shoulders.

Prim Prints Set Of Two
This set of beautiful prim prints are a great find for the prim collector. There are two- sold as a set. They have blue/gray wooden frames by M. Hughes, dated 1985 with primitive paintings of adorable children and their toys. The small frame picture size is 9 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches. It has a little girl sitting on a chair with a stencil on top of the frame with ''ABC'', and on the bottom of the frame is ''Sarah and her pull toy''.
The large frame is 11 by 11 1/2 inches with two little girls sitting on the bench each with their dolls. The stencil on the top of the frame has ''ABC'' and the stencil on the bottom of the frame says ''Friends Forever''.

Antique Sewing Notions Ball Jar
This huge antique Ball Ideal canning jar is a wonderful find.. It's marked Number 7 on the bottom of the jar and is filled with all sorts of sewing notions such as vintage buttons, snaps and pins. This measures 10 inches high by 5 inches wide and is perfect for that prim collector.

Antique Oak Frame Bevel Glass Mirror
This old mirror is in great shape. The oak frame is painted with a glossy ivory paint, and some of it is gone so you can see the oak underneath. Very Very Heavy, with a really nice bevel glass. Measures 23 and a half inches long by 15 and a half inches wide.

Vintage Straw Hat
This very cute straw hat in in great condition, made with 100% natural fiber. It has a one and a half inch wide black ribbon around the hat, and ties in a bow in the back. This will look so cute hanging off an old chair, or hanging in your garden room!! Very cute... Measures 15 inches by 12 inches.
